The short version
Idle Crypto Billionaire is a single-player game. Cryptocurrency is only its theme: coins and Diamonds are in-game currencies that cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for money or moved outside the game, and the game does not connect to any exchange, wallet or cryptocurrency network. An account in the game is optional. Without an account you don't give us your name, email address or phone number, and your game progress is saved only on your phone.
If you create an account (with Apple, Google or email), a copy of your progress goes to the Unity cloud so it can be moved to another phone. You can delete the account at any time in the game or through our website.
Payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, so we never see your card details. Ads are shown by Google AdMob, also with the help of other ad networks: rewarded ads when you choose a reward, and occasional full-screen ads, no more than once every 3 minutes. The No-Ads Pass turns them all off. Game statistics are collected by Unity and Google, but only if you agree. You can change your consents and ad choices in the game at any time.
Who publishes the game
The game is published by Axperts Dariusz Zalewski, ul. Pelikana 1/3, 71-698 Szczecin, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 851 319 2109, REGON 363785540, email biuro@axperts.pl. For the processing described below, we are the controller of your personal data.
What stays on your phone
The game saves your game state on the device: coins, Diamonds, upgrade levels, locations, outfits, boosters, collection cards, the state of the HODL streak, staking and the weekly project league (the league is calculated on the phone and the score is never sent anywhere), purchased products, the state of ad rewards, story conversations you have seen, settings and your consent choices. If you have an account, the phone also keeps the sync state with the account and, after you choose between the phone save and the account save, a backup copy of the other save.
Without an account we don't send your game save to any server, and deleting the game from your phone deletes it for good. With an account, a copy of your progress is also in the cloud, as described below.
Account and cloud save
An account is optional, and the game works the same without one. An account saves your progress in the cloud so you can move it to another phone or get it back after reinstalling. You can create one in "Settings", in the "Account" section, with the "Sign in" button.
Ways to sign in:
- On iPhone and iPad, the "Sign in with Apple" button, which is Apple's sign-in built into the system. We don't ask Apple for your name or email address. We only receive the identifier Apple assigns to you for our game and a one-time sign-in confirmation.
- The "Sign in with Google or email" (iPhone and iPad), "Sign in with Google, Apple or email" (Android) and "Create an account with email" buttons open the sign-in page of Unity Player Accounts, the account service of Unity Technologies. You give your email address and password to Unity and keep your Unity account directly with Unity, which is then an independent controller of this data. The game does not ask Unity for your email address and does not store it. It only receives a sign-in confirmation from Unity with the identifier of your Unity account.
Your player account in our game is run by the Unity Authentication service. It assigns a random player ID, which the game shows in the "Account" window as "Player ID", and links it to the identifier from Apple or from Unity Player Accounts. Your progress is stored by the Unity Cloud Save service. Unity Technologies provides both services to us as a processor acting on our behalf.
The cloud receives your whole game save, the same as on your phone, and a summary of it: save and game version, system (iOS or Android), upload number, a random installation identifier (not a device identifier), location and chain number, Reputation points, play time, number of Diamonds and the permanent products you own. Your email address is not there. When the game connects to Unity services, your IP address is also processed.
Once you are signed in, the game uploads a copy of your progress every few minutes and after important events, for example after a purchase or when you leave the game. If the phone and the account have different saves, the game asks which one to keep, and the other stays on the phone as a backup. After you sign out ("Sign out"), your progress stays on the phone and stops going to the cloud. Without an account the game does not upload your game save to the cloud.
A Unity Player Accounts account belongs to Unity and is not part of our game, so deleting your account in the game does not delete it. You can delete it with Unity: on the Unity account page, sign in and choose Request Deletion. You can request access to its data at unity-player-login-privacy@unity3d.com. More: Unity Privacy Policy, Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account in the game: the gear under the character portrait opens "Settings"; in the "Account" section choose "Manage", then in the "Account" window tap the red "Delete account" button and confirm with "Delete forever". We delete your cloud save and player account right away, and Unity deletes statistics linked to the account within 30 days. Your progress on the phone stays and you can keep playing without an account.
On iPhone and iPad, for an account with Sign in with Apple, the game asks Apple to remove its access to your Apple ID. Apple then asks you to confirm. The one-time code from this confirmation goes to Apple through our function in the Unity Cloud Code service, and Apple revokes the game's access. We don't store the code or any Apple sign-in data. If this fails, the game shows instructions for removing the access in your Apple ID settings.
You can also ask us by email to delete your account, without installing the game. All the steps, what is deleted and the time limits are on the Delete your account page.
In-game purchases
In the in-game shop you can buy Diamond packs, the Hardware Wallet, the Starter Pack and the No-Ads Pass. Payment and payment data are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms. The game only receives the purchase confirmation from the store, that is the product and transaction identifiers, so it can give you the content you bought and restore permanent purchases on a new device. We don't store your card or store account details. If you have an account in the game, the list of permanent products you own is also part of your cloud save.
The game talks to the App Store and Google Play through Unity's purchasing library (Unity In-App Purchasing). On every purchase attempt the library sends Unity Technologies technical information about it: the product, the price, the result, the transaction and installation identifiers, and basic device and system details. This is used to handle and settle purchases and to detect errors, and it does not depend on your consent to game statistics.
Ads (Google AdMob and partners)
The game has two kinds of ads. You watch a rewarded ad only when you choose an ad reward, for example doubled production for a few minutes or a double quest reward. A full-screen ad appears from time to time during a break in play, for example after you close a panel, no more than once every 3 minutes and not in the first minutes of play.
Ads are provided by Google Ireland Limited through the Google AdMob service. Besides Google, the ad networks of our partners may also bid to show an ad (Google AdMob mediation). A partner's ad is then shown by that partner's library built into the game. When showing an ad, Google and the partner may process, among other things, your device's advertising identifier (if you allow it), your IP address, device, system and app information and how you interact with the ad. This is used to show ads, measure their performance and prevent abuse.
These advertising partners may receive data from the game through Google AdMob mediation (not every one of them has to be showing ads in the game at any given time):
- Unity Ads (Unity Technologies): Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy
- Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle, Liftoff Mobile): Liftoff Privacy Policy
- AppLovin: AppLovin Privacy Policy
- Mintegral (Mobvista): Mintegral Privacy Policy
- Pangle (ByteDance): Pangle data controllers and privacy policies by region
- Moloco: Moloco Privacy Policy
- ironSource Ads (Unity Technologies): ironSource Privacy Policy
- Meta Audience Network (Meta Platforms Ireland): Meta Privacy Policy
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game shows a consent form prepared by Google at launch when Google requires it. Google and the partners show ads tailored to you only with your consent. Your choices are saved on the phone in the IAB TCF industry standard and the Google Additional Consent specification, and the mediation partners also use these records. If you don't agree, Google may show non-personalized ads using limited data under its own rules. More: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps.
After you buy the No-Ads Pass, rewards arrive right away and the game shows no ads at all, including full-screen ads.
Game statistics (Unity and Google)
To improve the game, we use Unity Gaming Services provided by Unity Technologies. With your consent, the game sends gameplay events to Unity, for example the start of a session, progress through locations, purchases in the game shop, ads watched and use of the account, together with a random installation and player identifier, device model, system version, language and approximate country. If you have an account, the player identifier is your account's identifier, so statistics from different devices are linked to it. We don't send your name, email address or any other data that directly identifies you.
The same consent covers Google Analytics for Firebase, a Google service linked to our AdMob account. With your consent it automatically collects basic events, such as the first launch, sessions and time spent in the game, and ad impressions together with the revenue from them (these are recorded by the Google AdMob library itself), as well as the app instance ID, device model, system version, language and approximate location. When the advertising consents described below are on, it may also read your device's advertising identifier, if you allow it. This lets us see aggregate figures in AdMob, for example the average ad revenue per player. The game does not send its own gameplay events or your account ID to Firebase.
Google Analytics for Firebase runs in Google's consent mode. Without your consent the game does not start it at all. In the app itself, collection is turned off by default, and the consents for storing analytics and advertising data are set to denied by default. After you agree to statistics, the game turns collection on, and turns the advertising-related consents on only if Google allows the game to show ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland this depends on your choices in Google's form, and Firebase also limits these consents to the purposes you chose in that form. If you withdraw consent, the game turns collection off and deletes the Analytics data stored on the phone together with the app instance ID.
Without consent no statistics are collected, and the game works exactly the same. More: Unity Privacy Policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data.
Unity services on every launch
On every launch the game signs in to Unity Authentication as an anonymous player with a random identifier, regardless of your consent to statistics and of whether you have an account. This lets it download gameplay settings from Unity (Unity Remote Config), for example the season calendar and the available sign-in options, and lets an account, if you create one, attach to the same player. This requires sending the identifier and basic device information, and Unity sees your IP address in the process.
Your choices and how to change them
You can change your choices at any time in the game: the gear under the character portrait opens "Settings", with a "Privacy" section. The "Game statistics" row covers statistics in Unity and in Google Analytics for Firebase. The "Your Privacy Choices" row with the "Change" button reopens Google's form with your ad privacy choices. The game shows this row only when Google requires it, that is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland and in the US states described below.
The game asks about statistics once, after Google's consent form (if it appears). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn. You can also turn off the advertising identifier in your phone's settings.
Privacy in US states
In US states with consumer privacy laws, the game offers Google's US states privacy message. You can open it in "Settings", in the "Privacy" section, with the "Change" button in the "Your Privacy Choices" row (shown with the blue and white toggle icon). In this message you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising. You can change your choice at any time in the same place.
The advertising libraries of Google and the mediation partners collect identifiers, approximate location from your IP address and data about how you interact with ads in the game for targeted advertising, which the laws of some states may treat as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. After you opt out, Google limits how it uses data for ads, the game passes your choice on to the mediation partners listed above, and Google Analytics for Firebase loses consent to use data for ads and ad personalization. The earlier parts of this policy describe what data we collect and for what purposes.
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what data we process about you, to get a copy of it, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of the "sale" or "sharing" of data. We will not treat you worse for using these rights. Send requests to biuro@axperts.pl, and if you have an account, include the player ID from the "Account" window so we can find your data. If we refuse, in some states you can appeal the decision by replying to our message.
Who else receives data
- Unity Technologies: sign-in, player account, cloud save, revoking access to your Apple ID through Unity Cloud Code, remote settings, game statistics, the purchasing library and Unity Ads in mediation.
